Cranberry Flavoured Cocktails - Part 1
This time, my post will be about cocktail recipes, using Cranberry Juice is on of the ingredients, but since there are too many recipes, I’ll devide the posts into 2 parts - Part 1 (Simple Recipes) & Part 2 (Medium Recipes)
Ingredients:
1 Shot Disaronno Amaretto
1 Dash Soda
Top up Cranberry Juice
0.25 Shot Lime Juice
Liquid volume = 136.24ml
Alcohol by volume (ABV) = 5.1%
Method: Pour 1 shot of Disaronno Amaretto into highball glass half filled with crushed ice. Top up with cranberry juice. Add a splash of soda and a squeeze of fresh lime juice. Garnish with a squeeze of lime.
Garnish: Slice of lime

Light Seabreeze

Ingredients:
4 Shots Cranberry Juice
2 Shots Grapefruit Juice
Liquid volume = 150ml
Alcohol by volume (ABV) = 0.0%
Method: Shake all ingredients together with ice and strain into a highball glass half filled with cubed ice.
Garnish: Lime wedge
Type/Flavour: Non Alcoholic
Glass: Highball

Cranberry Surprise

Ingredients:
2 Shots White Rum
4 Shots De Kuyper Cranberry Liqueur
10 Shots Lemonade
1.5 Shots Lemon Juice
Half an Watermelon
Liquid volume = 437.5ml
Alcohol by volume (ABV) = 8.0%
Method: Above ingredients/quantities are sufficient to make 4 cocktails. Scoop out all the flesh of half a fresh watermelon and place in a blender. Add all the other ingredients and blend together well. Strain (to remove watermelon pips) into 4 highball glasses filled with crushed or cubed ice.
Additional notes: For extra spice in your Cranberry Surprise cocktail – use a spiced rum such as Sailor Jerry instead of the white rum. To make a big impression when making this cocktail at a party – why not serve it in the remaining half of the watermelon with straws for everyone to share?
Garnish: Add a slice of watermelon to the edge of the glass

Ingredients:
1 Shot De Kuyper Triple Sec
1 Shot Pimms
4 Shots Apple Juice
4 Shots Cranberry Juice
1 Large Dash Lime Juice
Liquid volume = 260ml
Alcohol by volume (ABV) = 6.3%
Method: Pour all the ingredients into a highball glass filled with ice
Garnish: Slice of lime
Type/Flavour: Fruity
Glass: Highball

Ingredients:
2 Shots Russian Standard Vodka
3 Shots Orange Juice
3 Shots Cranberry Juice
Liquid volume = 200ml
Alcohol by volume (ABV) = 10.0%
Method: Build over cubed ice.
Garnish: Orange slice

Ingredients:
2 Shots Russian Standard Vodka
1 Shot Peach Schnapps
3 Shots Orange Juice
3 Shots Cranberry Juice
Liquid volume = 225ml
Alcohol by volume (ABV) = 11.4%
Method: Build the ingredients over ice.
Garnish: Lime wedge

Ruby Breeze

Ingredients:
1 Shot Woods 100 Dark Rum
1 Shot De Kuyper Crème De Cassis
3 Shots Cranberry Juice
3 Shots Pink Grapefruit Juice
Liquid volume = 200ml
Alcohol by volume (ABV) = 9.0%
Method: Build the ingredients in the above order in a highball glass half filled with ice cubes. Squeeze a wedge of lime juice into the drink.
Additional notes: Fantastic long cocktail with rich flavours of dark rum and blackcurrant balanced with the dryness of the cranberry and grapefruit juices. Perfect!
Garnish: Add a slice of lime to the rim of the glass.

Sand Dance
Ingredients:
1 Shot Grants Family Reserve Blended Whisky
1.5 Shots De Kuyper Cherry Brandy
1 Shot Lime Juice
Top up Cranberry Juice
Liquid volume = 187.49ml
Alcohol by volume (ABV) = 10.1%
Method: Half fill a highball glass with cubed ice. Pour in all the ingredients and stir well.
Additional notes: Who would think that a whisky cocktail could taste this fab!
Garnish: Garnish with a twist of lime peel or a cocktail cherry if preferred.

Brandy Lime and Berries

Ingredients:
1 Shot Three Barrels Brandy
0.5 Shot De Kuyper Crème De Cassis
1 Large Dash Lime Juice
Top up Cranberry Juice
Liquid volume = 147.49ml
Alcohol by volume (ABV) = 8.1%
Method: In a highball glass half filled with cubed ice, build the ingredients in the following order: first the Three Barrels Brandy, then the De Kuyper Crème De Cassis, lime juice and then finish by topping up with cranberry juice.
Additional notes: Delicious long drink mixing berry flavours with the richness of brandy.
Garnish: A slice of lime

Summer Breeze

Ingredients:
2 Shots Russian Standard Vodka
2 Shots Apple Juice
2 Shots Cranberry Juice
1 Dash Lime Juice
0.5 Shot Elderflower Cordial
Liquid volume = 167.5ml
Alcohol by volume (ABV) = 11.9%
Method: Mix all ingredients together in a cocktail shaker with ice. Strain into a highball glass filled 2/3 with cubed ice.
Additional notes: Light blend of fruit juices and vodka – perfect for any occasion.
Garnish: Garnish with a slice of freshly cut apple

Ingredients:
1 Shot White Rum
1 Shot De Kuyper Crème De Cassis
4 Shots Cranberry Juice
4 Shots Pink Grapefruit Juice

Alcohol by volume (ABV) = 5.5%
Method: Shake the ingredients and pour into a highball glass filled with ice. Garnish with raspberries, cranberries or blackcurrants if desired.
Additional notes: A deliciously fruity and refreshing long cocktail - full of berry flavours.
Garnish: Summer berry fruits if desired.

Garnish: Pineapple slice

Could there be anything more French than a fine Bordeaux wine? A Graves Rouge for example, made from cabernet sauvignon and merlot grapes grown on vines planted on a south-facing slope on the left bank of the Garonne river. As it turns out, there could. Although the wine made at Chateau du Seuil is typical of the region, with its complex fruit flavours and nicely integrated oak and tannins, its makers are not.
