Kek Seng is a 100 years old coffeeshop which this is a prewar coffeshop. This coffeeshop is famous among the locals in Penang as well as tourist . Some of the famous food from here inclusive of the Asam Laksa, as well as the Ais Kachang.. and its famous durian ice cream.. I din order de Ais Kacang but we ordered some other stuff
Loh Bak here is famous as well according to my dad. My dad claims that the lo bak here is very nice.. which I also agree. There are varieties you are able to choose from the loh bak itself, fried sting ray, fried taufu, fried Taiwan sausage and fried prawns .. and lots more.. The lo bak here is usually served hot which make it taste nice.. and together with the loh ( sauce) and the spicy chilly sauce make them even nicer.
As a Laksa lover, how can I say I resist Laksa, Laksa here is not bad … though is not in my Grade 1++ diary.. but its still nice and oishi. The asam laksa here is also one of the popular one which I can say is not bad and nice. Just is not as nice as the one in Greenlane.. that’s wat I love the most .

Last week 11th April 2009, is course gathering day where kinda many of our coursemate did attend. It has been past 2- 3 years ever we haven met.. wat is so so nice.. is able to meet a group of long time no see frens as well as updating the current status of ourself.. Some are still in IT some are not.
Some are getting thinner and some are getting fatter.. some still de same no changes.. and even I can say.. we are kinda update of our job and more. We have them @ Shabu Shabu, the restorant located at Level 4. in Times Square.
Here you goes the restaurant that we went. Overall the sitting is kinda fix so we cant have much interaction if our leg is too lazy.. so while waiting for them to come over, we had our drinks ordered and dear and me ordered the Kiwi Juice as below. The Kiwi juice is not bad. Very the oishi as well.. yum yum.. and it cost about RM 5.90 / cup

And me and dear ordered a set of special Shabu Shabu.. but for both of us is not that nice. The tom yam is not as spicy as I thought it should.. and the food is really limited.. not much I can see except 3 prawns, some mushooms, pieces of chicken meet, bihun .. and tats really can say is allof it d. Nothing else. Not very nice..and the prawn is not fresh enough as well..

The set comes with desserts which is the ice creams..not the branded one,.. just the Magnolia one and as for fruits they have coices of watermelon and pineapple..
After makan makan, we had chats and photo taking together and overall is kinda an enjoyable one.. Nice to meet u guys ya.. Oh ya, need to thanks my dear for accompany me and being the photographer.. Thanks a lot dear.

Lam-Mee-Ya has been in One-U for a couple of months and finally i tried it out! It is opposite Kluang Station or next to Bread Story (or is it bread talk) in LG at the New Wing, previously was a Japanese restaurant.

It is recommended by dear to have a try.. since we do not have any odea on wat to makan in 1-u. We ordered the Japanese Tea which is kinda nice.. and not bad.. very soothing as well after drinking

That’s de Lam Mee dear ordered…the noodle portion is quite big for me… don’t know how to explain the gravy taste. its quite different from normal Lam Mee outside the stalls. they have their ”own taste” which is not very strong. wonder what is the taste for the curry mee and chicken koay teow. hahaha will try it next time. .. and I felt lucky we ordered just a bowl..and we shared together.. or not is just wasting the money since I am not a heavy eater
- The Wo Tip-
It also come wif the Japanese style of wanton or mainly called Wo- Tip in Taiwan.. is a similar style and inside is shreaded wif some meat and kinda juicy.. the taste is some sorts like Siew Long Pau .. hahaha.. is very oishi desu

I got my Ambasaddor card from Haagen – Dasz at last .. andy now is my ice cream spree.. now I love the ice creams .. oishi oishi.. is my first time using this card.. and have the ice cream wif dear. I took Rum and Raisin which is my favorite when I go for the expensive taste of ice cream and dear took the tiramisu
Overall I love the ice cream as it is soft and nice… and the taste is fabulous where for the Rum and Raisin u can taste the heavy taste of Rum.. yummy…

Apom is another famous food in Penang and its mainly sold by the Indian community around teh streets and its claims as Apom Balik or Apom Manis.
Is kinda hard to fnd Apom stall at night since this is mostly sold during the day and is served during breakfast as is light ..
Apom is generally make of floor and eggs plus a bit of sugar. This stall Apom is kinda nice as it is not that sweet as well as is tender.. overall is not bad and delicious as well as is reasonable price

We had our dinner yesterday @ Kluang Station yesterday again but this time is wif Carol with us. Carol haven had this before as so we bring her to try but he taking the curry fish.. which she say is oishi as well.
Before the dinner is served, I asked Carol to help me to take a picture of dear and me .. and I love this picture as well. Thanks dear.. he seems like taking so many pictures in this few weeks being with me

Both of us ordered the signature ice tea.. which is mainly called as teh tarik more la. The tea is kinda smooth and the taste is nice and refreshing. dear and I ordered the same dish for the day ,,

Next comes Carol meals which is the curry fish set which Carolynn, me and dear claims is nice.. though is not the signature dish lo.. They served them wif fish , brinjal as well as long beans. dear also claims is nice

Relax Station is another place in Kelana Jaya which I usually dine. I am indulge to dere as they served a very nice oishi herbal chicken .. and now I am going to try the kuai leng koh. Em.. teh kuai leng koh is kinda nice..but is different from Kong Wor Thong because the sugar is already inside the Kuai leng Koh while in Kong Wor thong, you can pour the sugar depends on your likings – if u want them to be sweet or not.
Relax Station is a bit inside Kelana Jaya – where is about 10 minutes walk from the Kelana Jaya LRT Station. It is situated a street behind the old Lim Kok Weng University.

Yan Yan which is located in old klang road had been my usual routine to have my dinner dere, it has been nearly every week we will be stepping in to the restaurant to grab the bits and bites of the chu char.. and is ok.. just a bit expensive and usually I could not even complete the dish as well . The taste is normally ok and quite nice
Ordered the wat tan hoe for this time and de taste is very oishi desu and delighting. The sauce is not melekit as it supposed which make it taste better. Overall the taste is nice as well is delighting. I love the taste so much that I always can say I could not resist them
As for Carol She ordered Singapore Bihun.. I dono wats much difference but wat I know is Singapore Bihun is fried with tomato sauce … and some chillies. overall is still ok. not bad nia.. oishi desu..
Wat I can say is the food in this shop is not bad just a bit expensive cause is restaurant based,

Haven been to Nandos for a long long time… and now I am now at Nandos with WC and Carol. The one we had was in Mid Valley which is situated near the Carefour. The Nandos there is ok.. jus the services is not that good. It takes quite long to give us the menu .. environment wise… not much I can say.. since is franchise there are not much to compare.

Wc ordered the HOT pari Pari and is real hot.. is seems like kinda extremely hot .. ahahah .. but still ok..
Carol however ordered this which is the Lemon Peri Peri which is not really hot at all.. is a lemon taste peri peri and is really not spicy.. wat I can say is jus a normal taste only .
